Former Leeds United striker, Noel Whelan has told Manchester United star, Jesse Lingard to leave Old Trafford at once.
Whelan said Lingard has no future at Manchester United and believes the England international should leave the club this January transfer window.
Lingard has found himself dropped out of Man United’s starting XI at Old Trafford so far this season.
The 29-year-old has made just eight Premier League appearances, all off the bench for Ralf Rangnick’s side.
That led to calls for a move away this January transfer window in a bid to get regular football.
“He didn’t have a future under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer either,” Whelan told Football Insider.
“The young man’s got to go. I think it’s a no brainer for anybody sitting there and watching Man United play at the minute.
