Nigerian Navy 2017 Recruitment is finally out and this will surely put smile on the faces of all those who has been waiting for the form to be release online.

The Nigerian Navy has announce the commencement of the 2017 recruitment exercise which is meant to recruit qualified Nigerian citizens who have the interest of joining the force the recruitment exercise kicked off in their online portal on the 1st of July 2017 for free registration for all interested applicants.

But be inform that they are some basic requirements that are to be meant to be qualified to apply for the exercise.

Therefore all those who want to apply for the recruitment must posses at-least one of the following requirements.

1. West African School Certificate/Senior Secondary School Certificate.

2. General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level.

3. WAEC City and Guilds or London City and Guilds.

4. Ordinary National Diploma (OND).

5. And Any other educational qualification equivalent to those mentioned above.

According to the press released by Nigerian Navy they also listed the requirements for the exercise which includes the producing their primary school first school leaving certificate and also states it clear that applicants with HND, higher educational and professional qualifications are not qualified according to the Nigerian Navy.

And also the applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 22 years as at the time of entry into the training school for the certificate holders while those with higher qualifications like Nurses, NCE holders, ICT professionals, etc. are to be between the age of 24 years of age.

Candidates are hereby warn against declaring false education and professional qualification as it is an offence that attracts outright withdrawal or dismissal and will be hand over to the Police for prosecution.

Be warn also that Any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered and accepted during the recruitment exercise is not acceptable after recruitment and cannot be tendered for the purpose of change of branch or advancement while in the naval service. “Only qualifications obtained through proper service provisions are tenable after joining.

One of the requirement is that the applicants must be single and not have children at the time of joining the Navy.They are to print out the parent/guardian consent and local government attestation forms.

Applicants with short foresightedness, ear problem, previous orthopaedic operation, flat foot, below the required height of 1.70 for males and 1.67 for females, fracture, stammering or any natural disability. None of the applicants should have any previous conviction by a court of law on criminal charges will be disqualified.
